Value of this Aeroplan promotion
According to our evaluation, 1 Aeroplan point = 2 cents.
So, being able to earn 10-20 points per dollar on an Air Canada purchase means a 20-40% return on your purchase in Aeroplan points! And as you read in Jean-Maximilien’s review on Etihad Airways, if you use your points for business class flights, you could get around 6 cents per dollar. This means an even more significant return with this new Air Canada promotion.
For example, if you use your TD® Aeroplan® Visa Infinite Privilege* Credit Card to purchase $1,000 worth of Air Canada tickets or Air Canada Vacation packages, you’ll earn 20,000 Aeroplan points (instead of the usual 2,000).
