With AIR MILES offers, make purchases at select stores with any Mastercard credit card to earn bonus AIR MILES miles!
How AIR MILES Mastercard Card Linked Offers work
As of November 2021, all Mastercard credit cards in Canada can be linked to an AIR MILES account. When you register your Mastercard credit card to your AIR MILES account, you get AIR MILES bonus miles according to current AIR MILES offers.
You must do the following steps:
- Go to the AIR MILES website to link your Mastercard credit card
- Make the purchase with your registered Mastercard credit card , based on limited time AIR MILES offers
There is no need to show your AIR MILES member card at the time of purchase. The miles will then be deposited into your member account 30 days after purchase. No coupon is required.
Only one registration is required to link with the Mastercard.
For example, when I linked my HSBC World Elite® Mastercard® to my AIR MILES Collector account, I get this confirmation message.

Among others, you’ll have the following AIR MILES offers until fall 2023:
- Kernels
- Via Rail
- Boston Pizza
- Sephora
- Dollarama (coming soon)
Offers vary from time to time. For example, there have been offers with Subway, Indigo and BeaverTails in the past.

If I use my HSBC World Elite® Mastercard® for a $15 purchase of delicious popcorn at Kernels, for example, I will earn :
- HSBC Reward Points based on my purchase (2 points per dollar)
- 8 AIR MILES with AIR MILES offer

Bottom line
These types of AIR MILES offers change frequently and each business has different conditions. You need to pay particular attention to this, and to their expiration date. The only constant is that each offer can be used a maximum of once per day per AIR MILES Collector.
It’s another way to earn AIR MILES bonus miles, without necessarily having an AIR MILES credit card.
However, having a credit card linked to the AIR MILES program has a certain advantage, as it speeds up the accumulation of miles. For example, the Dollarama offer gives you 5X bonus miles! It’s an interesting way to get miles faster.
