You can earn Scene+ points with the 5 Scene+ credit cards.

With the Scotiabank Gold American Express^® Card, you can get :

• 6 points per dollar spent at Sobeys, IGA, Safeway, Foodland, FreshCo, Voilà by Sobeys, Voilà by IGA, Voilà by Safeway, Chalo! FreshCo, Thrifty Foods, IGA West, Les Marchés Tradition, Rachelle Béry and Co-Op
• 5 points per dollar in grocery stores, restaurants and entertainment
• 3 points per dollar for travel and streaming services
• 1 point per dollar everywhere else.

In addition, with this card you won’t have any conversion fees for foreign currency purchases!

For example, you could buy gift cards in grocery stores to get up to 6 points at other retailers (SAQ, Amazon, Netflix, etc.).

Scene+ Rakuten is the online shopping portal of Scene+.

When you store online through this portal, you’ll earn points on every eligible purchase at hundreds of online retailers. You will receive 100 points for every $1 in cash back.

Your rebates will be automatically deposited as points in your Scene+ account at the end of each quarter.

By presenting your Scene+ loyalty card at partner restaurants, you can earn Scene+ points for your food purchases!

Since August 11, 2022, Scene+ has been implemented in grocery stores and pharmacies in Atlantic Canada. Since September 22, 2022, Scene+ has been introduced in Western Canada and selected businesses in Ontario.

The rollout went faster than expected in Ontario with a November 3, 2022, launch in Empire Company stores such as Sobeys and Foodland.

For Quebec, the changes took place on March 23, 2023. The Scene+ program is officially underway at IGA, IGA extra, Voilà by IGA, Rachelle Béry and Les Marchés Traditions since March 23, 2023.

Scene+ will also be deployed in liquor stores (Sobeys Liquor, Safeway Liquor, Thrifty Foods Liquor).

1,000 Scene+ points can be deducted from your bill at checkout (1% return).

Scene+ points are accumulated through :

With Scene+ Travel by Expedia, you can use your Scene+ points directly when booking your trip (hotel, plane ticket, car rental): 100 points = $1.

There are several advantages to booking with Expedia’s Scene+ Travel platform:

• You earn 3 points for every dollar spent on hotel rooms and car rentals when you book through Scene+ Travel powered by Expedia.
• If you don’t have enough Scene+ points, you can top them up with your credit card.

If you have a Scene+ credit card (or a Scene+ debit card), you can apply your Scene+ points directly to the purchase of any trip.

Simply charge your trip to a participating Scotiabank card and use your Scene+ points to pay for the trip within 12 months of the booking date.

The exchange rate is 100 points = $1. A minimum of 5,000 Scene+ points ($50) will be required.

With your Scene+ points, you can earn movie rewards at Cineplex.

You will receive $10 off in exchange for 1,000 Scene+ points at participating grocery stores. Simply present your Scene+ card at the till when paying.

You can use your Scene+ points at the following shopping partners for cardholders in the province of Quebec:

• Apple: 127 points for $1 off (145 points required as of June 19, 2023 for Quebec, and the rest of Canada)
• Best Buy: 127 points for $1 off (145 points required as of June 19, 2023 for Quebec, and the rest of Canada)

Simply browse the Scene+ Apple or Best Buy catalog and select one or more items. If you don’t have enough points, you can pay as little as 20% of the item’s value plus tax with your points, and charge the remaining 80% to the payment method of your choice.

With your Scene+ points, you can earn meal rewards at many restaurants.

With your Scene+ points, you can obtain gift cards for a variety of stores.

The standard exchange rate is 1,400 points = $10. But it may vary depending on the retailer and their current promotions. For example, this Home Hardware gift card offers a better redemption value: 1,000 points = $10.

You can use your Scene+ points to obtain a credit on your eligible Scotiabank debit or credit card accounts.

As of June 19, 2023 for cardholders in the province of Quebec, the ratio will be the same as the rest of Canada, i.e. 14,500 points for a $100 account credit.
