Between two stopovers, we were able to visit the “Le Saïgonnais Business Lounge” at Saigon / Ho Chi Minh City airport. Here is our report with many pictures.
How do I access Priority Pass lounges?
It’s a question that comes up regularly on the milesopedia Facebook group, especially about the Priority Pass lounge at Montreal-Trudeau Airport (National Bank’s World Mastercard lounge).
The Priority Pass program provides access to a network of lounges around the world. We have written a very detailed article on how Priority Pass works.
There are different levels of membership in the Priority Pass program. Some Canadian credit cards offer different Priority Pass packages, please see them in this article section.
As a <a class=”thirstylink” title=”The American Express PlatinumMD Card, I have access to the premium plan:
- free subscription to Priority Pass
- Cardholder + 1 guest have unlimited access to Priority Pass lounges (no annual visit quota!)
No other card in Canada offers this option. Most of the time, it will be a limited number of annual visits (6 for example with the Scotiabank Passport™ Visa Infinite* Card), which may be sufficient for occasional travellers. But as soon as you travel frequently, and even more so when you are accompanied, it will be very advantageous to consider the American Express Platinum Card.
The Saigonese Business Lounge
This Priority Pass lounge is located in the domestic terminal, past security, across from gate 11.
Children under 2 years old can enter for free (1 per adult).

We were lucky to have no crowds in this lounge, whose colors and decoration are “refreshing”.
There is a business area with access to computers and printers.

And plenty of seating and tables for eating.
Alexandra is quickly getting comfortable in this salon!

While Dad shares his experience on Instagram:
On the buffet side, we were impressed by the quantity and quality (which sometimes disappoints in Priority Pass lounges). Nothing to do with the salons that we can see in North America.

Here is a diaporama of salty dishes…
and sweet dishes.
Of course, all types of wood are offered.
The staff is very present:
Bottom line
An excellent Priority Pass lounge at this Saigon / Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) airport. As you can see from the various photos, the staff was very present, clearing the tables immediately, making the lounge very well maintained!
In short, a good moment of rest before embarking on the next flight!
