Before boarding our flight to Seoul on Asiana Airlines, we quickly visited the two lounges we had access to:

• Rose Business Lounge (access with our Asiana Airlines business class boarding pass)
• The Orchid Lounge (access with our Priority Pass membership).

The Rose Business Lounge

This one is near gate 9, a long way to go knowing that our boarding will be at gate 20, that is to say opposite.

This lounge is the one used by the vast majority of international companies.

It is located in a corner of the terminal, which offers beautiful views of the tarmac.

Since most of the airlines sponsor this show… it is particularly busy.

A rest room is available.

The buffets are varied.

We like the microwave for the bottle!

And various alcohol for the parents!

The Orchid Lounge

As we headed to our gate, I saw that another lounge was available, this time for Priority Pass members. Having a membership with unlimited access – thanks to the American Express Platinum card – I quickly stopped by to take some pictures.

This Priority Pass lounge is mainly available to Vietnamese credit card holders.

Contrast with the previous show: few people here! Surprising because its location – in the center of the terminal – is quite good.

I agree that the buffet was of higher quality in the other room.

However, what really stood out for me was the calmness of this salon and the very good facilities.

Bottom line

Two very decent lounge deals in Ho Chi Minh City if you travel in business class or are a Priority Pass member. If we think about it, we would choose the Priority Pass version for 2 reasons

• less frequented
• central location in the terminal
