BMO has revealed its new exclusive partnership with Shell Canada, offering even more savings opportunities to BMO credit and debit cardholders.

Now, when customers use their BMO credit or debit card in conjunction with a valid AIR MILES Collector Card, they can enjoy a discount of :

7¢ per litre on Shell V-Power NiTRO Premium gasoline ;
2¢ per litre on all other Shell fuels;

At Shell service stations in Canada.

This offer can be combined with the existing 3¢ per litre discount for CAA, AMA or BCAA members at Shell. CAA members can get up to 10¢ off pre liter of premium gas and 5¢ off regular gas. To get it, present your CAA membership card at the pump, in-store or by entering your CAA membership number in the Shell mobile app.

This 3¢ per liter offer will be available to CAA members in Quebec from September 16, 2024.

This gas discount is in addition to all the other benefits BMO customers receive when they fill up at Shell, such as credit card reward points, AIR MILES miles and special offers.

How do I get the Shell discount?

With a BMO AIR MILES credit card

If you have an AIR MILES co-branded BMO credit card, you’re already ready to fill up! No additional action is required: your discount will be applied automatically at the pump or in the Shell application.

You must still present your AIR MILES card or provide your membership number.

With another BMO credit card

If your BMO credit or debit card is not AIR MILES co-branded, you must link your accounts first. Visit this page to link your AIR MILES account to your BMO card number.

Then you’ll get your rebate when you present your AIR MILES card and charge the transaction to your linked BMO card.

If you have a CIBC debit or credit card, a similar program exists with Journie Rewards and Ultramar gas stations.
