What is IHG PointBreaks promotion?

PointBreaks is a promotion of the IHG Rewards Club program, the loyalty program of the Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG).

During this promotion, you can get a hotel night for a discounted price in points, according to a list of selected hotels:

5,000 IHG points
10,000 IHG points
15,000 IHG points

If in Canada, there is no longer a credit card linked to the IHG program, it is still possible to earn points:

with a stay at one of the IHG Group hotels
by buying IHG Rewards Club points

The new PointBreaks list has just been released and is valid to book stays until January 31, 2020.

Of course, the earlier you book, the better your chances of getting hotel nights at the PointBreaks rate (5,000 points / 10,000 points / 15,000 points).
