Porter Airlines unveiled on July 30, 2024 its two new seasonal routes for winter 2024-2025 to Las Vegas, Nevada’s largest city.
From November 1, passengers will be able to travel non-stop between Ottawa International Airport (YOW) and Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) four times a week.

The airline points out that it will be the only one to operate the Ottawa-Las Vegas route. Las Vegas-Montreal (YUL) service begins on November 2, with three flights a week.
These new routes are in addition to the two daily Las Vegas-Toronto (YYZ) flights.
Kevin Jackson, President of Porter Airlines, mentioned that this new service to Las Vegas reflects the airline’s commitment to “meet passenger demand”, but also to “offer superior service across our expanding network”.

Canadians are particularly fond of relaxing in Las Vegas, as Steve Hill, President and CEO of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.
In his words, Canada is the main source of international visitors. In 2023, Las Vegas welcomed 1.4 million Canadians.
