Canadian winners
The SkyTrax World Airline Awards ceremony took place on June 20, 2023 at the Musée de l’Air et de l’Espace in Bourget, France, during the Paris Air Show.
Air Canada won three awards:
- The world’s most family-friendly airline
- Best airline in Canada
- Best airline employees in Canada

Air Transat was awarded the prize of the best leisure airline for the fifth time; it won the same award in 2012, 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2023, and was voted the best leisure airline in North America in 2022.

WestJet was awarded Best Regional Airline in Canada.
Star Alliance was voted the world’s best airline alliance.

Air France stands out
Air France stood out from the crowd, winning five prestigious awards:
- Best airline in Western Europe
- Best First Class catering
- Best First Class Catering
- Best First Class Lounge
- Best Business Class Lounge in Europe
The French airline also moved up in the ranking of the world’s best airlines from 8th to 7th place:
- Singapore Airlines
- Qatar Airways
- ANA All Nippon Airways
- Emirates
- Japan Airlines
- Turkish Airlines
- Air France
- Cathay Pacific Airways
- Eva Air
- Korean Air
