New direct flight from Vancouver to Singapour
Air Canada announces a new non-stop flight between Vancouver and Singapore from April 3, 2024.
Connections will be more convenient via Singapore for travel to Southeast Asia, southern India and Western Australia.
There will be 4 flights a week, and bookings can be made from today. Vancouver will thus be the only airport in Canada offering direct access to Singapore.
All flights will be operated with Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft. The available cabins are :
- in Air Canada Signature Class with lie-flat seats,
- in Economy Privilege class,
- and in Economy class.

The flight from Vancouver to Singapore takes 15h55. The return journey takes 14 hours and 35 minutes.
The schedule has been designed to optimize connections with flights to and from North America, via Air Canada’s Vancouver hub.
In Singapore, it will be possible to connect to Southeast Asia, Southern India and Western Australia on flights operated by Singapore Airlines, a Star Alliance member and Air Canada’s codeshare partner.

This new direct flight from Vancouver to Singapore joins announcements of new routes for 2023 – 2024, such as Vancouver to Dubai and Montreal to Amsterdam.
Air Canada returns to Singapore after an absence of over 30 years. With this new flight, people from Canada will be able to either stay in Singapore or take another plane to more than 55 cities in this part of the world.
All that remains is final approval from the federal government to confirm this new route.
