Air Canada announced on Tuesday that it will be increasing flights to the Asia-Pacific region from December 2023, as part of its international diversification strategy.
The airline has indicated that this winter it will offer up to 57 flights a week between Canada and Asia this winter, and up to 64 flights a week next summer.
Capacity to Japan will increase by 96% this winter compared with last year, says Air Canada.
Here are the details:
- From mid-December, up to 11 flights a week will be operated on the Vancouver-Hong Kong route;
- This winter, connections between Canada and Japan will be almost doubled;
- During the peak winter months, flights to Bangkok will operate daily. The season will be extended until the beginning of May 2024;
- From April 2024, the new link to Singapore will be launched;
- From May 2024, seasonal flights to Osaka will resume earlier Osaka
- Next spring, larger aircraft will be operated for Narita and Seoul.
