Discover in this review our experience following the visit of the lounge Etihad Airways Lounge at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport (CDG).
Le lounge Etihad Airways Lounge in Paris Charles de Gaulle
Accessibility
This lounge is located at terminal 2A-C just after the Duty Free shopping area.
On the same floor are the lounges of Cathay Pacific, Emirates and American Airlines.
It is only accessible to persons traveling in Business or First Class on Etihad Airways or who hold a status with the airline.
Opening hours
The lounge opens 3 hours before flight departure. In our case, it opened at 5:30.
It should be noted that Etihad is currently going through a financial downturn and has started to reduce its sail area. For example, the company closed the lounge it had in London (identical to this one)… and questions are being asked about the future of this Parisian lounge.
Thus, the opening hours are reduced (previously, this lounge was open longer during the day).
Rest areas
This lounge is particularly great considering that Etihad offers only 2 flights a day from Paris.
There is a section near the restaurant room.

There is another space set back from the restaurant room (beyond our suitcase):
At the entrance of the lounge there are 2 computers with a printer:

Space for children
This lounge, like the other lounges from Etihad – and American Express – has a playroom for children. Which is very appreciable, believe us (although this time, our cherubs are not with us!).

The bathroom
After a long corridor (with prayer rooms for men and women) are the bathrooms.
Inside them is a shower.
The buffet and the bar
We were the first to visit the lounge. In other words… we were not disturbed and had 4 waiters, just for us!
Here is a general view of the restaurant (with Audrey in the background):
The restaurant includes a buffet:
With different cheeses:
And cold starters….
…and hot dishes:
And finally different desserts:
And quality wine!
But it is also possible to choose a dish à la card which will be served to you at the table:

I personally chose the Summer Bruschetta:
Accompanied by a good chocolate mousse:
Bottom Line
Audrey had just spent the night on a plane (on the Air France flight between Montreal and Paris which she reported on). As for me, I had just arrived from Nice after a week spent at my mother’s side with our two children.
At that moment… we really felt like we were on… another honeymoon, almost 10 years later!
This lounge allowed us to start well our dream trip to the UAE!
The service was impeccable: several times the waiters came to see us to ask us if we wanted a glass of champagne or something to eat again!
The only shortcomings: opening hours not displayed and neon lighting a little too bright in the dining room. Otherwise it’s a very well made span class=”term” data-original-term=”c2Fsb24=”>salon!
